A Snowy Surprise

After an awkward night consisting of a college jazz concert and dance class, we had a very unusual and pleasant treat. At midnight of my mom's birthday, frozen bits of sky began to fall to the earth. Prior to this, Kyreen had never experienced snowfall. It was truly something special.

Excited, we donned as many layers as we had and ran outside into the dark, frozen night. Napoleon took extremely well to his first snowy experience and began to run around at full speed through the frozen powder. He was just as excited as we were.

Napz less than pleased to be taking family pictures.
We took the liberty of snapping a few photos as a family. I made a tiny snowman and Frances was nice enough to add grapes, a carrot, and a scarf to give it a little personality. Kyreen and I topped it off with her glasses and my hat. After we finished up, we talked for at least another hour before heading to bed.

Sometimes, if you refrain from making plans and just live for the moment, a moment makes plans for you.
